This delightfully rich spaetlese from the Hessen has that full, honeyed peach flavor with tons of residual sweetness that is so very popular. As an evening cocktail with fruit and cheese it would serve you very well. Joseph Friederich crafts wines of many styles with a common characteristic...all are made exceptionally well. Prosit!

The village of Chassagne-Montrachet is known for producing what most consider the finest white wines in the world . . . all from the classic Chardonnay grape. This Premier Cru is filled with lush tropical fruit flavors and gentle oak. A wine of class.

Paso Robles has doubled its winegrowing over the past 10 years. The long, hot summer of 1996 produced very ripe Pinot noir which were harvested by hand. The grapes were fremented in 'whole cluster' in order to give more tannin to match the ripe fruit, which also gives the wine better acid balance for aging. After aging for 10 months in French oak the wine displays bright, sweet Pinot fruit with vanilla counternotes. A great red wine to enjoy with barbecued Salmon or poached Sea Bass. Serve slightly below room temperature.

An extraorkinary Beerenauslese with a very unique grape combination. We're not the only people who think the wine is a standout... It was selected as a Gold Medal winner in the regional wine competition for the Rheinpfalz/Rheinhessen and selected out of hundreds of entries as one of the few champions. This one has it all, great fruit, superb balance and a finish that never ends!
